Curves+
Curves+
Treat nucleic acids with up to four strands
Deal with chemically modified bases or backbones
Deal with minicircles
Calculate a global helical axis (straight or curvilinear)
Analyse groove widths and depths
Analyse backbone dihedrals and sugar puckers
Calculate bp-axis, intra-bp and inter-bp parameters
Directly analyse molecular dynamics trajectories
What Curves+ can do ....
Curves+ is a complete rewrite of the Curves approach for analysing the structure of nucleic acids. It respects the international conventions for nucleic acid analysis, runs much faster and provides new data, notably on groove geometries. It also avoids confusion created in earlier studies between so-called "local" and "global" parameters.
